- Basic Physics II:
To my knowledge there are almost no textbooks on basic physics written by Iranian physicists. All that we have are translations of standard English texts like Halliday and Resnik. Recently Dr Firooz Arash, has written a nice textbook on Basic Physics in Persian. The level of this course is higher than the standard courses normally thaught in universities and is more mathematically oriented. Therefore it may be instructive even for those students who have read these standard texts at some stage and want to have a firmer grasp of the basic mathematics and physics of the subject. The lectures on mechanics are complete and those of electricity and magnetism will be posted one by one as I receive them from Dr Arash.
Note: The lectures on electricity and magnetism are in draft form and may contain some typos.
You can download these lecture notes from this page and I hope you will learn and enjoy them. Moreover I wish that like me, you will also enjoy their unique Persian prose. After all that is why we all like to write textbooks in Persian.
